2025 Refund Policy

15 Minute Full Refund Via Runsignup

After regsitering for an event there is a 15 minute window to receive a full refund from Runsignup. The confirmation page and/or confirmation email should have a button or link to access this refund. 

Registration Protection/Insurance

DQ Events offers Registration Protection through Runsignup during the registration process. This Registration Protection is only good if you cannot make the event, not if the event is canceled or postponed and it is separate from USAT Membership/Insurance. Please view their terms and conditions on their sites.

Partial Refunds

Partial Refunds(excluding RSU/USAT fees) are available up to Race Day Eve:
*90 Days Prior: 75% Refund
*60 Days Prior: 50% Refund
*14 Days Prior: 25% Refund

Deferrals And Race Transfers

Deferrals and Race Transfers are available up to Race Day and require an active USAT Membership for Race Day:
*1 Year Prior: $25
*14 Days Prior: $40

Same-Day Event Transfers

Same-Day Event Transfers throughout Race Day have no extra fee except to cover the difference of events.

Transfers are good for this calendar year only.

Deferrals expire at the end of the following calendar year.

How To Claim Your Deferral

Please access your RSU profile (https://runsignup.com/Profile) and select the Deferrals tab. On the right of the Treasure Island row there should be a link to Complete Deferral. From there you should be able to register for any event by DQ Events. Here is a link explaining the steps with images: Runsignup Help

Race Expenses

As with all events, proceeds from the event are used to cover the numerous nonrefundable pre and post-race expenses required to produce the event (e.g. permits, police/traffic, security, shirts, finisher medals, awards, refreshments, bibs, timing chips, equipment, bike racks, event staff, signage, event supplies, restrooms, etc.).
